Miss Michigan Rima Fakih was crowned Miss USA last Sunday in Las Vegas, becoming the first Arab/Muslim American to ever win the title. I hope her native people back in Lebanon are proud of her accomplishment. She was involved in controversial for 2007 “Stripper 101” pole-dancing competition photos. But she’s fully clothed in the “stripper” photos and half-naked in the Miss USA shots, so what all the fuss is about?
